Borek Stary [ˈbɔrɛk ˈstarɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Tyczyn, within Rzeszów County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Tyczyn and 13 km (8 mi) south-east of the regional capital Rzeszów.
The village has a population of 1,600.
