Boscolo Hotels
Boscolo Hotels is a 5-star Italian hotel chain.
Boscolo Hotels work in the hotel industry through hotels in important Italian and European art cities and business centers.
History
- 1978: Start of Boscolo hotels with first hotel in Sottomarina, called "Real".
- 1980: Boscolo Tours is founded and develops travel agency activities.
- 1985: Boscolo Etoile is founded, it is a centre for the training of professional chefs and also the seat headquarter of the National Chef Equipe.
- 1989: Boscolo Group acquires the Bellini Hotel, a 4-star hotel in Venice.
- 1990: Boscolo Tours is turned into a Tour Operator.
- 1993: the brand Boscolo Hotel is created, and the Astoria Hotel in Florence is acquired.
- 1995: the Grand Hotel Palace in Rome is acquired and renovated.
- 1997: the Leon D’oro Hotel in Verona and Incentive (a company that organizes events) are acquired.
- 1998: the Hotel de la Ville Vicenza, the Grand Hotel in Trento and the Grand Hotel dei Dogi in Venice are acquired. The General Service Company and the Boscolo Engineering Company are created. A share of Alpi Eagles is acquired.
- 1999: The Tower Hotel in Bologna is built.
- 2000: Boscolo Group buys two historical buildings in Rome and in Prague, which later become Exedra and Carlo IV. The Golf Club of the Montecchia and the Pap Group with three hotels in Nice and one in Lyon are bought.
- 2001: A building in Budapest is bought, and the restructuring of the Aleph in Rome starts.
- 2002: The Maggior Consiglio Hotel in Treviso is acquired.
- 2004: The Borromini Hotel in Rome is added to the offer.
- 2006: Opening New York Palace Hotel in Budapest and starting partnership with Sixty.
- 2007: Two other hotels in France are acquired: in Nice and Lyon.
- 2008: The B4 Hotel in Padua, located in the NET Tower, opens.
- 2009: Boscolo Hotels opens in Milan the 5-star Hotel Boscolo Exedra Milan, in the Quadrilatero della Moda downtown.
- 2010: The major renovation work following the design of Architect Italo Rota restores the Boscolo Palace Roma to its former glory.
- 2011: Boscolo Palace Roma, Boscolo Venezia, Boscolo Prague and Boscolo Budapest join the Autograph Collection by Marriott.
- 2012: Boscolo Hotels opens in Bari the 5-star Hotel Boscolo Bari located in downtown. It was closed after only 20 months in 2014.
- 2013: Boscolo Exedra Roma and Boscolo Milano join the Autograph Collection by Marriott.
- 2015: Boscolo Exedra Nice joins the Autograph Collection by Marriott.
