Botho von Frantzius (9 August 1898 – 10 December 1942) was a highly decorated Generalmajor in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Botho von Frantzius was killed on 10 December 1942 near Nevel, during the Battle for Velikiye Luki. He was posthumously promoted to Generalmajor.
