Box is a small village in Gloucestershire, England. It is located just over three miles away from Stroud and just over ten miles away from Cirencester. Minchinhampton is about 1 mile (1.6 km) away and Nailsworth is about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) away. Box has a population of about 400.
Box lies at the edge of Minchinhampton Common, designated as a SSSI. The common is well known for its cows, which often cause traffic delays as there are no fences on the common. Since there is no cattle grid at the entrance to the village, cattle are also often found wandering through its streets.
The village has a strong community spirit and a lively social scene, despite its small size. Notable village events include:
- The produce show, held annually in the village hall in September.
- The village pantomime, held annually in the village hall in early March.
- The village open gardens, taking place during the summer in most years.
The village hall also hosts a variety of village clubs and societies, including:
- The bridge club
- The art group

- Exercise groups
