Bracewell is a locality in Gladstone Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2011 census, the population of Bracewell and its neighbour East End was 462 people.[1]

History

The Bracewell Public Hall was opened in January 1914 on Mr Cuthbert's land beside the main road in the town. The building was 45 feet (14 m) by 25 feet (7.6 m).[3]

Bracewell State School opened on 5 July 1915 and closed on 30 June 2000.[4][5]
