Bradford School is a small for-profit career college located in Columbus, Ohio near the well-known Easton Town Center. It originally was founded in 1911 and moved to its current suburban campus location in 2003. It has on-campus housing for students but more than half of students live in the Columbus area and commute.

Academics
Bradford School provides career-focused courses to high school graduates. Bradford’s programs generally offer hands-on learning opportunities that help prepare graduates to start working immediately. Some programs offer externships as well. Students can graduate in 10–12 months by earning a diploma. Associate degree programs can be completed in 16–20 months. Bradford groups its five major areas of study into three main categories: Graphic Design, Health Care, and Culinary Arts. These major areas are listed below.

Bradford's dormitories are available for students, but more than half of the students live in the Columbus area and commute. The program has an undergraduate population of 156. A high school diploma is a prerequisite, and 30% of applicants are accepted to the program. Nearly all graduates are placed in jobs.[1]
Program
The Vet Tech Institute program requires 18-months to complete, and graduates earn an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology degree. The curriculum includes hands-on instruction at the on-site kennel, working with many different kinds of animals using industry standard equipment including x-ray and surgical suites, supervised by on-staff veterinarians. Completion of the school's American Veterinary Medical Association accredited program qualifies an individual to take the national licensing exam to become a registered veterinary technician. Academic courses focus on animal anatomy and physiology. During the last semester, students complete an off-site externship, coordinated by the institute.
Culinary arts
The Columbus Culinary Institute (CCI) is a division of the Bradford School, and is located on their campus. Bradford's dormitories are available for students, but more than half of the students live in the Columbus area and commute. The program has an undergraduate population of 150. A high school diploma is a prerequisite, and 54% of applicants are accepted to the program. Nearly all graduates are placed in jobs.[1]

The culinary arts associate degree program requires 18-months to complete. The culinary arts diploma program requires 12-months to complete. Much of the curriculum involves hands-on instruction in five new kitchens modeled after professional facilities. Academic courses focus on culinary arts knowledge. During the last semester of the associate degree program, students complete an off-site externship, coordinated by the institute.

Columbus Culinary Institute is a specialized institution offering an 18-month culinary arts associate degree or 12-month diploma program to high school graduates.
