Braeburn Park
Braeburn Park is a 22.3 hectare nature reserve in Crayford in the London Borough of Bexley. It is managed by the London Wildlife Trust,[1] and includes Wansunt Pit, a 1.9 hectare geological Site of Special Scientific Interest.[2]
The site is former sand quarries which have gradually reverted to nature. Habitats include ruderal scrub, grassland and woodland. There is a wide variety of invertebrates, including rare ones such as skipping flower beetles and picture-winged flies.[1] There is also a pond and there are many common bird species.[2]
There is access from Lower Station Road.[1]
