Brandon Barker joined Manchester City at the age of eight. He was the winner of the Academy Players’ Player of the Year award in the 2013–14 season and signed his first professional contract with Manchester City in July 2014.[5] In the opening months of the 2015–16 season he appeared on the first team bench for a number of times but did not manage to make an appearance.[6][7]
