"Break Me" is the second single by Jewel released from the album This Way.[1] It was a minor hit on the New Zealand and Dutch singles chart, peaking at number 47 and number 95, respectively,[2] as well as in the US, where it reached number 28 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart. It also reached number 105 in the UK.
The video for this single featured special effects, and was based on the Afghanistan War on Terror. The video was played heavily on VH1 throughout the spring and summer of 2002.
Like majority of Jewel's singles, "Break Me" was re-worked for radio release. The "Radio Remix" contained new vocal and a new musical arrangement.
