Fortuneo–Vital Concept (UCI Team Code: FVC) is a professional continental cycling team based in Rennes, France that participates in UCI Continental Circuits races. The team was founded in 2005 and since 2013 the main sponsor has been Séché Environnement, a French waste treatment company.[3]
For 2016 & 2017 the team will be renamed Fortuneo Vital Concept.[4][5]
History
In 2014 they received a wildcard invitation to the 2014 Tour de France.[6] In September, of the same year, the team announced they had formed a partnership with the amateur cycling team Brest Iroise Cyclisme 2000 (BIC 2000) which will now act as its reserve team.[7] The team took part in the 2015 Tour de France, having been selected as a wildcard once again.[8]
