Brian Bain

Brian Bain (born February 10, 1982) is an American rodeo cowboy who specializes in bareback riding. He has qualified for the 2011 and 2012 National Finals Rodeo. He is currently sponsored by Tony Lama Boots and Rodeo Austin.

Personal

Bain was born in Bend, Oregon, graduated from Culver High School, and resides in Culver, Oregon.[1] Bain did not take up bareback riding until age 22, which is considered late for the sport.[2]

2011 season

Placed in 3 rounds of the NFR before suffering a concussion and dislocated shoulder that caused him to miss the last three rounds. Bain won this the Columbia River Circuit Finals Rodeo which qualified him for the 2012 National Circuit Finals Rodeo. In total, Bain won 4 rodeos and was co-champion at 2 rodeos.[3]

2012 season

In 2012, Bain was champion at 6 rodeos and co-champion at 2 rodeos.[4] One of these victories was at the 2012 National Circuit Finals Rodeo where he qualified for the semi-finals by way of a tiebreaker, qualified for the finals by finishing third, and then won the finals with an 86 point ride.[5]
