Brian Carter is an American author, speaker, marketer and comedian.[1][2][3][4][5] He also is the CEO of The Carter Group, a digital marketing and advertising agency.[6]

Education

Carter earned his bachelor's degree from Miami University in 1995.[7]

Career

Brian Carter is a digital marketing expert and has developed marking programs for Microsoft, Universal Studios, the United States Army and Hardee's.[6][7][8][9] He was included on Everything PR's list of "Top 50 PR Professionals You Should Be Following On Twitter" in July 2011.[10] That year, Carter was quoted in Twitter Marketing For Dummies, a book discussing what Twitter is and how to use it for marketing.[11][12] He has also been featured in The Wall Street Journal,[13] a segment on ABC News,[2] Bloomberg Television,[14] Forbes,[15] Mashable and the U.S. News & World Report.[7]

Carter has written for marketing blogs including Social Media Examiner, Mashable, Convince & Convert, Search Engine Journal and AllFacebook.[16][17] He has spoken at Social Media Marketing World, Moz, SMX, Pubcon, The AllFacebook Expo and Socialize and The American Marketing Association.[18][16][17] In 2014, Stryde included Carter on its list of "Top 50 Social Media Experts."[19]
