Brian Currane is a former Australian rules footballer for the Ireland national Australian rules football team.

Playing career

Brian is a native of Kilmihil, Co. Clare and is the founder of the Leeside Lions. [1] Brian and his brother Mick represented the Ireland national Australian rules football team, that won the 2001 Atlantic Alliance Cup and 2002 Australian Football International Cup,[2] in Melbourne. He returned with the team as player/assistant coach for the 2008 Australian Football International Cup,[3] reaching the semi finals.[4][5][6][7]
