Brian Grech

Brian Grech (born 26 January 1980 in Malta) is an award-winning fashion photographer and visual designer, based in Malta.

Early life

At an early age, Brian was interested in the arts. At the age of 8, he won various international art competitions. In 2000, he graduated from the University of Malta with a degree in Communications and Psychology. He took up photography as a hobby during his time at University and decided to go freelance as soon as he finished his studies.

Work

Brian has been working in various media for the past 15 years. For a few years worked as creative director with various international companies. His style of photography is distinct. In the early years of his profession, Brian was known for his 'glossy' images of local celebrities.

Brian won the title of Best Fashion Photographer of the Year three consecutive years at The Malta Fashion Awards. and is currently photographer and designer for the glossy mag Style on Sunday.
His photographs are inspired by history, art and fashion. Brian puts a lot of attention to detail and light; creating surreal imagery. His work has been published in Dazed & Confused magazine (Korea), alongside photographs by Herb Ritts and Mark Seliger; Harper’s Bazaar magazine and other quality titles.

Clients include high profile personalities and companies.
