Brian Keefe is an American basketball coach, currently an assistant on the staff of the New York Knicks.
Biography
Keefe joined the Thunder franchise as a player development assistant on August 23, 2007, when the team was still the Seattle SuperSonics. Prior to that time, Keefe had been a video coordinator for the San Antonio Spurs.[1] Prior to joining the Spurs, Keefe was an assistant coach for four seasons at NCAA Division II Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I., and one season at the University of South Florida.[1]
In 2010, Keefe was given defensive assistant coaching duties after the departure of Thunder assistant Ron Adams.[2] Keefe also coached the Thunder's summer league roster in Orlando from July 5–9, 2010.[2]
As a player, Keefe spent two seasons of NCAA basketball at UC Irvine before transferring to UNLV his final two seasons, graduating in 1999.[1]
In 2014, Keefe joined the New York Knicks coaching staff under Derek Fisher.[3]
