Brian Mark Kowitz (born August 7, 1969) is an American former professional baseball player who played 10 games for the Atlanta Braves during the 1995 baseball season.
Kowitz is Jewish. He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 9th round of the 1990 amateur draft. On December 5, 1994 he was again drafted by the Minnesota Twins as part of the Rule 5 draft but was sent back to the Braves on April 25 of that year when he failed to stay on 25-man major league roster.[1]
He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and attended The Boys' Latin School of Maryland as well as Clemson University.
