Brian Molvik (born August 16, 1953) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey defenceman. In the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft he was selected in the 4th round (62nd overall) by the New York Rangers, and in the 1973 WHA Amateur Draft he was selected in the 10th round (117th overall) by the Vancouver Blazers.
Despite being drafted by both the National Hockey League and the World Hockey Association, Molvik never played in the major leagues. He played the 1973–74 season with the Baltimore Clippers of the American Hockey League, and with the Albuquerque Six-Guns of the Central Hockey League. He played the next two seasons with the Winston-Salem Polar Twins of the Southern Hockey League, missing part of 1974–75 season with skull fracture,[1] before retiring from professional hockey following the 1975–76 season.
