Brigitte Barclay

Brigitte Barclay (b. 16 December 1970, also known for a time as Bridget Grant[1]) is Britain's best known alleged alien abductee[2] with experiences comparable to those of George Adamski, Billy Meier and the Tujunga Canyon contacts. In September 2001, at the 20th Leeds International UFO Conference, British Ministry of Defence official Nick Pope introduced Barclay to the Ufological community, where she related some of her childhood experiences.[3][4] Pope introduced her to Budd Hopkins, who used regression techniques to examine Barclay's memories. Barclay claims at least seventeen close encounters. Her first, when she was seven, involved what she thought was a Chinese girl in a gazebo but later interpreted as a "Grey" alien and an alien craft. In 1993, she claims to have seen a silent silver craft fly past her closely followed by several unmarked black helicopters.[5][6]
