Brontostoma is a neotropical genus in the subfamily Ectrichodiinae of Reduviidae (assassin bugs).[1] About 20 species have been described.[2] These species are brightly colored with reds and oranges, and like all members of the Ectrichodiinae, specialize on millipede prey.[3]
