The bronze-tailed comet (Polyonymus caroli) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Polyonymus.[2] It is endemic to scrub and forest-edge at altitudes of 2,100–3,400 m (6,900–11,200 ft) in the Andes of Peru.[3]
