The plain parakeet (Brotogeris tirica) is a species of parrot in the Psittacidae family. It is endemic to Brazil.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and heavily degraded former forest. It is common in the urban areas of São Paulo and Curitiba in South Brazil.
Description
The plain parakeet is noticeable for being plain green all over.
