Broughton West is a civil parish in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 954, decreasing to 912 at the 2011 Census.[1] The parish includes Broughton in Furness, Foxfield, Lower Hawthwaite, Broughton Mills and Woodland.
Governance
An electoral ward in the name of Broughton exists. This wards stretches north into the lakes with a total population taken at the 2011 Census of 2,205.[2]
