Bryan Baeumler (April 18, 1974) is a Canadian television host on several HGTV/HGTV Canada shows.

Early Life

Learning valuable tricks of the trade from his father, a meticulous aircraft engineer, Bryan spent his childhood summers building his family's cottage from the ground up. His entrepreneurial spirit emerged at the age of 14 when he opened his own handyman business doing odd jobs for neighbors.[1]

Family

Bryan and wife Sarah (March 26, 1978) have four children: Quintyn Werner, Charlotte Anne, Lincoln Wolfgang, and Josephine Judith.[2]

Education

He received his B.A. in Political Science and Business from the University of Western Ontario in 1996.[3]

Business activity

Baeumler worked from 1995 to 2003 running an air-cargo business.[4]He is also President / CEO of Baeumler Quality Construction and Renovations Inc.[5]

Shows

Baeumler has been a host on several shows, including Disaster DIY,[6] Disaster DIY: Cottage Edition,[7] Leave It to Bryan,[8] and House of Bryan,[9] which became the highest rated series ever on HGTV Canada.[10] He is also a judge on the HGTV show Canada's Handyman Challenge along with Mike Holmes and Scott McGillivray.[11]

Awards

Bryan Baeumler won the Gemini Award for "Best Host in a Lifestyle/Practical Information, or Performing Arts Program or Series" for his presenting work.>
