Bryan Murrell (birth registered July→September 1955 (age 60–61)[1]) born in Leeds district, is a professional rugby league footballer of the 1970s and 1980s playing at club level for Leeds, and Hunslet, as a Fullback, i.e. number 1, he was a student at Stainbeck High School.

Bryan Murrell played Fullback in Leeds' 16-7 victory over Widnes in the 1977 Challenge Cup final during the 1976–77 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 7 May 1977.[2]
Genealogical information
Bryan Murrell is the father of the rugby league footballer, Scott Murrell.[3]
