Bryan Spears (born April 19, 1977) is an American film and television producer. He is the oldest child and only son of three children to Jamie and Lynne Spears. He is the older brother of entertainers Britney and Jamie-Lynn Spears and second cousin of socialite Alli Sims.

Bryan is often the focus of tabloid and paparazzi coverage because of his high profile family.[2][3][4]

Biography

Bryan was born to James "Jamie" Spears and Lynne Irene Spears (née Bridges) on April 19, 1977. He was born with a bacterial lung infection and had to be hooked to an IV before overcoming the infection about a week later. In Lynne's book, Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, she recalls how she thought Bryan was going to die and pleaded with God to let him live.[5]

Bryan's father worked as a construction contractor and his mother worked as a second-grade teacher.[6] About five years after Bryan was born, sister Britney Jean was born on December 2, 1981, in McComb, Mississippi. She was followed by Jamie-Lynn Marie, who was born April 4, 1991, also in McComb. The family attended the Kentwood First Baptist Church in Kentwood, Louisiana.[1]

Bryan attended Parklane Academy in McComb, a private Christian school that serves grades K-12.[7] After graduating high school, Bryan attended Southeastern Louisiana University, his mother's alma mater. While attending university, he majored in kinesiology.[8][9]

Over New Years in 2009, Bryan married Graciella Sanchez, the manager of Jamie Lynn and founder of One Talent Management. The two wed in a small, private ceremony in New Orleans. Sanchez is a graduate of Yale University.[10][11] Together the two have had a daughter, named Sofia Alexandra Spears.[12]

In August 16, 2015, Bryan attended the 2015 Teen Choice Awards along with his daughter Lexie, his sister Britney Spears and her two kids; Sean Federline and Jayden James Federline.[13]

Business

After sister Britney became famous, Bryan started working as a manager for "Spears family interests", including acting as producer for a number of sister Jamie's projects.[14]

Before father Jamie gained conservatorship over Britney in 2008, Bryan was paid $200,000 for "services rendered."[15]
