Bryan Walsh

Bryan Vincent Walsh was briefly Lord Mayor of Brisbane from 1975 to 1976.
Career
Before being elected to the Brisbane City Council, Walsh was a schoolteacher. He joined the Ashgrove Branch of the Australian Labor Party in 1949.[1]
Lord Mayor
Walsh succeeded long standing Lord Mayor, Clem Jones, in the leadup to the 1976 election, as Jones was retiring. However, Walsh was not returned as an alderman in the election.
