It is an uncommon name, meaning "Strong One".[1] Bryna is the female version of Bryan.[2] Some believe that the name Bryna is a feminine form of the Celtic Bren which is from the root bri (strength, force). Alternatively, it may be derived from the Gaelic bran (raven). [3]
