Bucculatrix infans is a moth in the Bucculatricidae family. It was described by Staudinger in 1880. It is found on the Balkan Peninsula and in Ukraine[1] and Turkey.
The wingspan is about 7 mm.[2]
The larvae feed on Centaurea triniifolia. They mine the leaves of their host plant. The mines have the form of full-depth fleck mines, occupying the entire width of the leaf segments. Larvae can be found in July. They are olive green.[3]
