Bucculatrix platyphylla is a moth in the Bucculatricidae family. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from New York.
The wingspan is about 9 mm. The forewings are pale straw-colour, the marks formed by ocherous brown-tipped scales. The hindwings are pale greyish ocherous, somewhat irrorated.[2]
