Bucklaw is a small community in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, located in Victoria County on Cape Breton Island. Bucklaw is situated along the Trans Canada Highway in the Nova Scotia Highway 105 section. There are no retail storefronts in Bucklaw. Bucklaw is a very small rural community and the population is below the Census reporting level (fewer than 50 individuals live year-round in Bucklaw). The nearest community with close to 1000 population is Baddeck approximately 25 kilometres east of Bucklaw with a 2001 census population of 907 year-round residents.
