Bullet (metal band)

Bullet is a Swedish heavy metal band from Växjö, formed in 2001.

Biography

With the intention to create a “real heavy metal band” Bullet was formed in 2001. In 2002 their first 7” was released called Heavy Metal Highway. 2003 their first EP Speeding in the night was released. Their first full-length album Heading for the Top was released in 2006. The singer of Iron Maiden, Bruce Dicksonson played the Bullet song “Turn it up loud”, from the debut album, in his radio show for BBC 2006.

In 2008 Bullet released their second album Bite the Bullet, which generated in many and long tours over Europe supporting Hammerfall and Backyard Babies, to name a few. The 21th of June 2009 Bullet was the opening act for AC/DC in Ullevi in Göteborg playing in front of 50 000 people. The song “Bite the Bullet” was played frequently on Swedish radio stations.

Bullets third album “Highway Pirates” was released in 2011.

In 2012 Bullets fourth album “Full Pull”, which was recorded and produced by Nicke Andersson (Hellacopters) and Fred Estby (Dismember), was released. Bullet then went on their first Headliner tour going through Europe and Sweden. The band also did a co-headliner tour with Primal Fear in February of 2014.

The 29th of September “Storm of Blades” was released and new Headliner tour was done, going yet again through Europe and Sweden in the autumn of 2014.
