Burger Urge
Founded by two Brisbane brothers[1] in 2007, Burger Urge has grown from a small local restaurant on Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley, to 16 restaurants within Queensland.
Products
Burger Urge's menu includes burgers, salads, Po Boys, wraps, and sides. Vegan and gluten free options for people with restricted diets are also available. Drinks include a range of craft beers and cider, tap beer, milkshakes and soft drinks.
Awards
In 2014 Burger Urge received the QSR Media award for the best Marketing Campaign of the year.[2][3] The award was for their Big Bad Vlad burger which sold for a limited time during the G20 while Russian president, Vladimir Putin was in town. The burger featured "two presidential chicken breasts, two ruthless rashers of bacon, thick cut KGB style chips, two oppressive slices of cheese, Siberian lettuce and regular ol' tomato, all topped with a shirt-fronting of sweet chilli mayo"[4]
