Burkholderia sediminicola is a gram-negative, catalase and oxidase-positive rod-shaped motile bacterium from the genus of Burkholderia and the family of Burkholderiaceae which was isolated from freshwater sediment.[3][4][5] Colonies of Burkholderia sediminicola are creamy white in coloured.[6]
