Burkinabin C is a divanilloylquinic acid found in the root bark of Fagara zanthoxyloides (Zanthoxylum zanthoxyloides).[1]
It has a type of structure similar to a hydrolysable tannin or to the chlorogenic acid isomers 3,4-dicaffeoylquinic acid and 3,5-dicaffeoylquinic acid, with a carbohydrate forming the core of the molecule and phenolics attached to it.
