The Burleigh Brewing Company is a brewery in Burleigh Heads, Queensland and is the only brewery located on the Gold Coast, Queensland.[2]
History
Peta and Brennan Fielding started Burleigh Brewing in 2006. After ten years they opened the doors to a new brewery and tap house.
Beers
- Duke Helles (3.5% alc/vol), a European style lager.
- Duke Premium Lager (4.8% alc/vol)
- Big Head (4.2% alc/vol)
- 28 Pale Ale (4.8% alc/vol), an American style pale ale.
- HEF (5.0% alc/vol), a German-style, unfiltered hefeweizen (wheat beer).
- My Wife's Bitter (4.8% alc/vol), a classic English Bitter brewed with English specialty malts.
- Figjam IPA (7.0% alc/vol)
Awards
In 2012 the HEF won the Gold Medal for 'South German-Style Hefeweizen/Hefeweissbier' at the Brewer's Association World Beer Cup.[3][4][5]
In 2013 the Burleigh Brewing Company was named as the 2013 Telstra Queensland Business of the Year.[6] In 2014 the company was named the 2014 Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards Supreme Winner.
