Burton H. Throckmorton Jr.
Burton H. Throckmorton Jr. (Elizabeth, New Jersey, 1921-Bangor, Maine, 2009) was an American New Testament scholar.[1][2] He was Hayes Professor of New Testament Language and Literature at Bangor Theological Seminary from 1954 to 1989, and a minister in the Presbyterian Church and the United Church of Christ.
