Jacques Parfait Cédric Mandjeck (born 8 April 1993) is a Cameroonian footballer who plays for Spanish club CF Pobla de Mafumet as an attacking midfielder.
Club career
Born in Yaoundé, Mandjeck moved to Spain at the age of 15, agreeing to a contract with Valencia CF. However, after not having any European passport, his deal collapsed and he returned to his homeland.[1]
After failed trials at Atlético Madrid and Levante UD, Mandjeck joined Torre Levante's youth setup.[1] In 2010 he returned to Valencia, being assigned to the Juvenil squad.
Mandjeck was promoted to the Che's reserve team in the 2013 summer. He made his debut as a senior on 13 September, coming on as a late substitute in an 0–2 away loss against CD Olímpic de Xàtiva for the Segunda División B championship.[2]
On 8 October 2013 Mandjeck made his first team debut, playing the entire second-half in a 7–1 friendly win against Burjassot CF.[3] He finished the campaign with 16 appearances for the B-side, which narrowly avoided relegation.
On 3 September 2014 Mandjeck signed a contract with Greek side Veria, after being on trial since July.[4] He made his professional debut on 29 October, starting in a 2–0 away win against Ergotelis, for the season's Greek Football Cup.[5]
Mandjeck made his Superleague Greece debut on 20 December, replacing Iván Malón in a 1–1 draw at Panthrakikos.[6] After appearing in only one further match, he left the club.
On 19 July 2015 Mandjeck returned to Spain, after agreeing to a contract with CF Pobla de Mafumet in the third division.[7]
