C4 was an American heavy metal band that formed in 2000. Comprising vocalist Dan Lenegar, guitarist and keyboardist Michael Angelo Batio, bassist William Kopecky and drummer John Mrozek, the band released one album Call to Arms in 2001.[2][3]

History

After releasing Lucid Intervals and Moments of Clarity with drummer Rob Ross in 2000, Angelo started a project, C4, to produce an album with vocals to contrast his instrumental work of previous years. The resulting band's first and only album, Call to Arms, was the first such album involving Batio since Nitro's second album, Nitro II: H.W.D.W.S., released in 1993.

Before the beginning of recording for Hands Without Shadows in mid-2004, C4 recorded a number of original tracks for a planned second album.[1] The album in question was never released, simply because Batio felt that the music was not up to release standard.[4] MAB has, however, stated that there is a chance of another C4 release in the future, though possibly with a different lineup.
