CDG Express
CDG Express is a planned project to connect Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and Paris by rail. Proposed to alleviate the saturation of the RER B line, it would connect terminal 2 to the Gare de l'Est.
Works were supposed to begin in 2008, with a planned opening in 2012. A later published revised timeline[1] expected an opening in 2016, depending on the RER B Nord+ project. In 2014, the French Junior Minister for Transport announced a planned opening for 2023.[2] The line, under the current project, is to be 32 km long.
