CITIC Telecom International CPC Limited (CITIC Telecom CPC) is an Information and Communications Technology company. It provides cloud computing solutions,[1][2] IP Networking services,[3] information security solutions,[4] and data center services.[5]
The company was formerly known as PSINet HK[6] and CPCNet.[7][8][9] It is parented by CITIC Telecom International Holdings Limited (SEHK: 1883) since 2001.[6]
History
In 2001, CITIC Pacific acquired the PSINet HK.[6] In the next year, the company was renamed to CPCNet[8] and launched the IP Networking services.[3]
In 2006, the company launched the information security services.[4]
In 2010, CITIC Telecom International Holdings Limited acquired China Enterprise ICT Solutions Limited through CPCNet.[10]
In 2011, CPCNet was renamed to CITIC Telecom International CPC Limited.[9][11] In the same year, they launched cloud computing solutions.[1][2]
Parent and subsidiary
Their parent company, CITIC Telecom International Holdings Limited,[6] is a telecommunication vendor to provide telecom services in the Asia Pacific; whereas their subsidiary company, China Enterprise ICT Solutions Limited,[10] was founded in 2000,[12] which is an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) service provider in China.
