CMJ University [1] (Hindi: सीएमजे विश्वविद्यालय) or CMJU was a private university located in Shillong, Meghalaya, India. Created through a state act in 2009,[2] it was the first private university established in Meghalaya.
There was some rumours about the functioning of this university's went smoothly by the law...the honorable high court went ahead and stood on their rock grounds for the welfare of the students and made a sympathetic consideration.
University appointed a new VC who is the ultimateaccountable authority.
The campus was situated on a 40-acre campus on a hillock in Jorabat on the Guwahati-Shillong Highway.
