CYBRA Corporation was founded as a New York corporation in 1985.[1] The Company is a software developer, publisher, and systems integrator in the IBM midrange market.[2] CYBRA is also a provider of bar code and RFID technology for IBM Power Systems[3] and other major computing platforms, bar code label and tag printing, and bar code scanning systems, similar to companies like Zebra Technologies Corp and Intermec Inc.[4]

CYBRA became an IBM Business Partner in June, 1988.[5] As an IBM Business Partner and Motorola/Symbol Partner, CYBRA is represented by a network of value added resellers throughout the United States and is represented internationally by sales and support offices. CYBRA became a public company in December, 2006.[6]
