Cabinet of Boris Yeltsin and Yegor Gaidar – Russian Cabinet of Ministers under the leadership of President Boris Yeltsin and First Deputy Prime Minister Yegor Gaidar. Worked from November 6, 1991 to December 23, 1992.[1]

Boris Yeltsin led the Council of Ministers to carry out radical economic reforms aimed at liberalizing the economy. He headed the Cabinet since November 6, 1991 to June 15, 1992. From June 15 to December 15, 1992 the Cabinet directed the Acting Prime Minister Yegor Gaidar.

In December 1992, Boris Yeltsin proposed to the Congress of People's Deputies of Russia Yegor Gaidar's candidacy for the post of Prime Minister of Russia, however, people's deputies he was denied.
