Caenorycta acrostega is a moth in the Xyloryctidae family. It was described by Diakonoff in 1966. It is found on Sulawesi.[1]

The wingspan is 30-31 mm. The forewings are whitish, finely irrorated with vinaceous-purple, the tips of the scales edged narrowly with that colour. More than the costal half is dull vinaceous-fuscous or purplish, the edge of this colour straight to before the lower angle of the cell, then gradually curved downward, to the tornus, concave. This edge is suffused with dark purple, the apex slightly dusted with purplish-white. The hindwings are bright ochreous, paler and dull along the costa, paler and with a golden gloss on the dorsum and with the extreme edge of the wing in the apex and along the termen variably dusted with deep purple.[2]
