The Cal Poly Pomona College of Business Administration is the business college at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) located in Pomona, California, United States. Majors

The College of Business Administration (CBA) grants Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with the following seven concentrations.

  • Accounting
  • Computer Information Systems - Cal Poly Pomona's CIS program was established in 1969 and is the oldest business-oriented four-year degree program in the nation. Originally known as the Data Processing Department. This program was recognized as the "Best Four-Year CIS Degree Program" in 1988 by the Data Processing Management Association and currently has over 1,000 students. There is about a 50/50 mix of business (Accounting, Managerial Finance, International Business Management, and so on) and actual computing-related courses.
  • e-Business - This concentration was launched in Fall 2001 to give students the technological, business and interpersonal skills needed to add value to established and start-up organizations engaged in e-business.

  • Technology and Operations Management - The department focuses on the role of technology and scientific management methods. Heavy emphasis is placed on the study of computer applications for helping managers plan, analyze information, make decisions, and communicate. The department is currently ranked 3rd in the nation, behind Harvard University and Penn State.
