Calephelis is a genus in the family Riodinidae. They are resident in the Americas 43 species are Neotropical 11 species are Nearctic.

Species of Calephelis feed on Asteraceae, Ranunculaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Bromeliaceae. Recorded larval host plants are in the genera Senecio, Parthenium, Mikania, Cirsium, Baccharis, Clematis, Encelia, Eupatorium, Ageratina, Bebbia, Acalypha, Bromelia, Chromolaena, Calea, Fleischmannia, Verbesina.
