The Califon School District is a community public school district that serves students in pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade from Califon, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States.

As of the 2011-12 school year, the district's one school had an enrollment of 139 students and 15.9 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 8.74:1.[1]

The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "I", the second-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.[3]

Students in ninth through twelfth grades for public school attend Voorhees High School, which also serves the communities of Glen Gardner (the home of the school), Hampton, High Bridge, Lebanon Township and Tewksbury Township.[4][5][6][7] The school is part of the North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional High School District, which also serves students from Bethlehem Township, Clinton Town, Clinton Township, Franklin Township, Lebanon Borough and Union Township at North Hunterdon High School in Clinton Township.[5]
