Calla Lily is a Canadian film directed by Mark Penney.
Calla Lily tells the story of Melanie Lauzon, who was drugged and raped while in college. Now ten years later, she is the mother of a young child and is in an abusive relationship. When Melanie has a chance encounter with an old classmate it leads Melanie to evaluate her past, present, and future.
The film was produced in 2015 in a minimalist stye with non-actors.
Calla Lily was originally released in Canada in December 2015. It will be released in American cinemas and on video-on-demand in May 2016.
