Callum Joshua Davies (born 8 February 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Maidstone United.
Career
Davies started his career as a trainee with Gillingham, having captained the youth team and made a number of appearances in the reserve team.[3] He made his debut on 13 November 2010, for Gillingham in their 3–1 home defeat to Crewe Alexandra in League Two.[4] Davies was sent-off in the 28th minute after a professional foul on Clayton Donaldson.[4] Gillingham manager, Andy Hessenthaler said he was in tears after being sent-off and stated "It was never a sending off. It was a very harsh decision. I am absolutely devastated for him."[5] He went on loan to Lewes of the Conference South in January 2011, and made his debut for them against St Albans City on 29 January 2011. In October 2011, Davies signed on an initial month-long loan for Conference South side Thurrock.[6]
Gills boss Martin Allen handed Davies and Bradley Dack three year contracts on 5 September 2012.[7]
In September 2015 Davies signed for National League side Eastleigh on a one-month loan deal.[8]
On 23 December 2015 Davies signed for Maidstone United on a free transfer. [9]
