Career

Leicester City

Elder was born in Sydney, Australia, and moved to England at early age. A Leicester City youth graduate, he signed a new deal with the club on 15 May 2013 after featuring for the club's U21 side.[3][4]

Mansfield Town (loan)

On 8 January 2015, Elder was loaned out to Mansfield Town in a month's deal.[5] He made his professional debut two days later, starting in a 1–2 away loss against Burton Albion for the League Two championship.[6] His first team appearance led the club extending Elder's loan spell for another month[7] and was extended again until the end of the season.[8] Elder went on to make twenty-one appearance for the club.

Peterborough United (loan)

On 29 August 2015, Elder joined League One side Peterborough United on a one month loan deal. He played in the 1-1 draw against Gillingham in his favoured position, left back.

International Career

Elder is eligible to play for Australia, Scotland and England. In October 2014, Elder was called up by Australia U-20.[9]
